Affordable, easy way to listen and record a stream at the same time

Ive been looking for an affordable and easy way to listen, and most importantly record a stream. Audacity was crazy complicated and other programs were too expensive. Radio is PERFECT!

I listen to 2 hydrophone streams broadcasting underwater off San Juan Island, Washington. Theyre especially important because the native Orca whale population is endangered (theyre called the Southern Resident Killer Whales), so a lot of people pay attention to them. Its really important to be able to record any time we hear their vocalizations, along with any boat noise pollution occurring at the same time, as it interferes with their communication. Radio is going to be doing very important work!
